Watering Malawi advocates for long-term solutions to extreme poverty and hunger through access to clean water, simple irrigation and sanitation systems.

At the invitation of Passport Vice President and founder of Watering Malawi, Colleen Burroughs, Passport students launched a national grass-roots effort and continue to raise significant financial support for clean water projects in her childhood home of Southern Africa.

Youth Worker Summit

Sacred Space for Youth Workers:

Gathering in Hope, Rekindling the Light.

December 1-4, 2010

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Lake Buena Vista, Florida

The 2010 Youth Worker Summit will gather youth ministry leaders from judicatories and congregations across the country in an ecumenical setting to find Sacred Space.  YWS is sponsored by 11 denominations who comprise the Ecumenical Youth Ministries Staff Team of the National Council of Churches.

August 9-11, 2010

Sponsored by a Lilly Grant awarded to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Passport is producing Selah Vie.  This retreat is for college-aged students. It is specifically designed for Passport staff, Student.Go missionaries and congregation-based interns from around the country.  Students coming from these intense ministry settings will join together and retreat to a safe place for debriefing, theological reflection, worship, conversation and renewal.  With conversation, play, rest and devotion - Selah Vie allows students to PAUSE Life for a moment of reflection and then look ahead to the path God is leading them to discover.

Faith in 3D is an event that brings together youth from three different faith groups for one weekend to discover the oneness that exists in Christ. On January 16-19, 2009, over two-thousand youth from The Presbyterian Church (USA), The Episcopal Church, and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship met at Walt Disney World® in Orlando, FL for Faith in 3D.  The next ecumenical gathering of youth is slated for January 2012.
