About

SELAHvie offers young adults a window to debrief the summer, many of whom have been serving in intentional areas of ministry, before the transition back into the Fall.

Whatever the summer holds, working with kids or learning the ropes of the non-profit world, ministering among a new culture or traveling the globe, students from all walks of life are invited to join us.  Participants enjoy networking with groups of CBF’s Collegiate Congregational Interns and Student.Go Missionaries, other young leaders from around the country considering, and Passport summer staff.  SELAHvie is a wonderful opportunity to process your journey with others on the road of life who are discerning what may lie ahead.

Travel

Driving: Carpooling is encouraged!  Regional vanpools will also be available through coordinated state CBF efforts.

Flying: Most participants will need to drive, but some will need to fly.  Shocco Springs Conference center is an hour and a half west of the Atlanta airport and an hour east of the Birmingham airport.  SELAHvie will assist in providing transportation to and from the Atlanta and Birmingham airports.

  1. Cost: funding for this event is available to 2012 Collegiate Congregational Interns, Student.go missionaries and Passport summer staff.  Please see your program supervisors for requirement specifications.  Some restrictions apply.
