Come and explore Ethiopia!  Home to 70 different ethnic groups and a vast range of climates and landscapes, this country holds within its borders a rich and diverse culture.  The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is one of the oldest expressions of Christianity in the world today and is practiced by almost half the population.  Agriculture is the country’s chief industry, which leaves the majority of Ethiopians vulnerable to shifting government leadership and unpredictable weather conditions.

Though the country possesses many cultural riches, it is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world.  Nearly 80% of the population lives on less than $2 a day, and many do not have access to clean water.  Cooperative Baptist field personnel David Harding brings some relief to those most in need.  David establishes partnerships with local leaders and volunteers to drill simple wells bringing clean water to the community.  We invite you to walk with us as we explore God’s work in Ethiopia.
