YOUTH CAMP: Locations Bible Study Worship Parties Group Leaders Parents Register
Youth build community through common experiences, working together and having fun. PASSPORT’s Bible studies are written to include all of those things. Bible study leaders spend an intensive 10 day training period prior to camp, which equips them to deal with the diverse needs each week’s group will bring.
Campers from different church groups are randomly assigned to study groups during camp registration.** It is amazing to watch students discover new ways of expressing themselves in a safe environment and away from their identities back home. The possibility of discovering new leadership skills or personal ways to consider a relationship with God through Bible study groups far outweighs the discomfort of meeting their new group on the first night of camp. If your particular group's dynamic would be better served with each youth having a buddy with them for the week, this can be arranged at registration upon your arrival at camp.
** Youth who participate in PASSPORTchoices will be split into developmentally appropriate Bible Study groups by middle school (6-8th graders) and high school (9-12th graders). The uniqueness of the PASSPORTchoices experience allows this special opportunity.
