Daily Camp Schedule

Youth are unique. And God is working in each of their lives in unique ways. PASSPORTchoices, has been specifically designed with this in mind. Allowing each youth to choose the twists and turns of their journey through camp enables them to tailor make their camp experience. Some youth are artists or called to be a vocational minister. Others are bridge-builders and connectors across cultural boundaries. Still others love recreation or are natural born leaders. For all, the chance to impact lives through hands on missions can be life-changing. PASSPORTchoices gives the youth in your church a program that can be tailored to their individual needs and curiosity.

Morning Devotion

8:30 am - 9 am

Just after breakfast, morning devotions begin our discussion of the theme for the day. By setting the daily tone, each devotion focuses attention on a personal relationship with Christ and readies campers to hear God speak through other program activities.

Morning Celebration

9 am - 9:30 am

Energy is the key to the celebration times! After 30 minutes of songs, laughter, announcements and awards, campers are awake and ready head off to Bible study with their new friends.

Bible Study

9:30 am - 11 am

By studying Scripture together, youth will build community through common experiences and fresh encounters with Christ. Youth from different church groups are randomly assigned to the activity based study groups during camp registration.

PASSPORTchoices

11 am – 2:30 pm

Choices are energetic and fun, insightful and rich. At the beginning of the week, campers choose from a menu of activities ranging from creative and abstract, to hands on and active. They will stay in this afternoon group all week. Art, gardening, recreation, missions, spirituality and even cooking can inform who we are as co-creators with Christ. Each choice celebrates who we are and why it is important to connect with the who God is calling us each to be in the world. Eating lunch together with your choice group is part of the afternoon.

Free Time

2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The choices continue into free time. Campers can choose to spend free time differently every day by playing informal games, chatting with friends, or learn about something new and interesting. These Free Time activities are led by PASSPORT staffers each afternoon.

Worship

7 pm - 8 pm

Nightly gatherings provide youth with a sacred space and time to worship. Set inside the context of the daily theme, campers will be asked to consider new thoughts about God, their faith in Jesus Christ and how their beliefs intersect with the world around us. PASSPORT worship is creative, reflective, and youth-oriented, rather than style specific. It seeks to expose campers to new ways of participating in worship through music, silence, prayer, and more.

Nightly Party

9 pm - 10 pm

The Variety Show, a costume Dance and an outdoor Rec Party all have one goal: FUN! Bible study groups will compete for the winning prize at the Rec Party, experienced campers will come ready with an act for the Variety Show and everyone should bring a Dance costume to match the theme for the week.

Church Group Devotions

10 pm - 11 pm

Your group will have the opportunity to gather together at the close of the evening for devotion and discussion of the day’s events. Guides will be provided as a resource to group leaders to use as they wish in processing the day together.

12th Night

You’ve made it! You are a Senior and you deserve a little treat! So, on the third night of camp, after all other campers have headed to bed, graduated Seniors gather after curfew for FOOD and FUN with the Camp Staff. 12th Night is offered at the end of Day 2.
